In his inaugural speech, the State President said that unity among churches is the need of the hour and unity among churches is the working goal of NCMJ.NCMJ formed Konni and Ranni constituency committees and elected office bearers.
The meeting was chaired by NCMJ State Vice President Rev. Thomas M. Pulivelil and the minority seminar was led by Father Benyamin Sankarathil. Mathewson P. Thomas,Rev Shaji K George, Rev Saju Thomas, Pastor Abraham Varghese, Aneesh Thomas Vaneth, Rev Dr RR Thomas Vattaparambil, Babu Venmely, and Saji Varghese spoke.

എൻ.സി.എം.ജെ സംസ്ഥാന പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് അഡ്വ ഡോ പ്രകാശ് പി തോമസ് പ്രവർത്തക സമ്മേളനം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.സഭകളുടെ ഐക്യം കാലഘട്ടത്തിന്‍റെ ആവശ്യമെന്നും സഭകൾ തമ്മിലുള്ള ഐക്യ കൂട്ടായ്മയാണ് എൻ.സി എം.ജെ യുടെ പ്രവർത്തന ലക്ഷ്യമെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ഉദ്ഘാടന പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു. എൻ.സി.എം.ജെ കോന്നി, റാന്നി നിയോജക മണ്ഡലം കമ്മറ്റികൾ രൂപീകരിക്കുകയും ഭാരവാഹികളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
