തെക്കൻ ആൻഡമാൻ കടൽ, വടക്കൻ ആൻഡമാൻ കടൽ, തെക്കൻ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടൽ, നിക്കോബാർ ദ്വീപ് എന്നിവയുടെ ചില മേഖലകളിൽ കാലവർഷം ഇന്ന് (മേയ് 13) എത്തിച്ചേർന്നതായി കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ്.
തുടർന്നുള്ള 3 മുതൽ 4 ദിവസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ, തെക്കൻ അറബിക്കടൽ, മാലിദ്വീപ്, കൊമോറിൻ മേഖല, തെക്കൻ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിന്റെ ചില ഭാഗങ്ങൾ, ആൻഡമാൻ-നിക്കോബാർ ദ്വീപുകൾ മുഴുവനായും, ആൻഡമാൻ കടലിന്റെ ബാക്കി ഭാഗങ്ങൾ, മധ്യ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിന്റെ ചില ഭാഗങ്ങൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കാലവർഷം വ്യാപിക്കാൻ സാധ്യത .
കേരളത്തിൽ ഇന്നും നാളെയും ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ശക്തമായ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യത .കാലവർഷം കേരളത്തിൽ 2025 മെയ്‌ ഇരുപത്തിയേഴോടെ (2025 മേയ് 27)2025 ലെ തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ മൺസൂൺ (കാലവർഷം) മേയ് 27 ന് കേരളത്തിലെത്താൻ സാധ്യതയെന്ന്‌ കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് . [4 ദിവസം വരെ മുന്നോട്ടോ പിന്നോട്ടോ ആവാനുള്ള (Model Error) സാധ്യത കൂടി കണക്കാക്കുന്നുണ്ട്].
South-west Monsoon has advanced into some parts of south Bay of Bengal, south Andaman Sea, Nicobar Islands and some parts of north Andaman Sea today, the 13th May, 2025. The Northern Limit of Monsoon passes through 5°N/75°E, 5°N/80°E, 6°N/86°E, 8.5°N/90°E, Hut Bay, 13°N/95°E. and 16°N/98°E Conditions are favorable for further advance of southwest Monsoon over some parts of south Arabian Sea, Maldives & Comorin area; some more parts of South Bay of Bengal, entire Andaman & Nicobar Islands, remaining parts of Andaman Sea; and some parts of central Bay of Bengal during next 3-4 days.
Scattered to fairly light/moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph over Kerala & Mahe 2025.
This year, the southwest monsoon is likely to set over Kerala to be on 27th May with a model error of ± 4 days.
