പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാൾ – ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് തീരത്തിന് സമീപമായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന അതിതീവ്ര ന്യുനമർദ്ദം രാവിലെ 10.00 -11.30 നും ഇടയിൽ റൈഡിഖി (Raidghi) സമീപം സാഗർ ദ്വീപിനും (പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാൾ) ഖെപ്പു പാറ (ബംഗ്ലാദേശ്) ഇടയിൽ കരയിൽ പ്രവേശിയച്ചതായി കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. വടക്ക് – വടക്കു കിഴക്ക് ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് നീങ്ങി വൈകുന്നേരത്തോടെ തീവ്ര ന്യുനമർദ്ദമായി മാറാൻ സാധ്യത.
National Bulletin No. 3 based on 1130 hours IST of 29th May (Deep Depression crossed West Bengal-Bangladesh Coasts close to Raidighi)
The deep depression over Northwest Bay of Bengal off West Bengal-Bangladesh coasts moved nearly northwards with a speed of 22 kmph during past 6 hours and crossed West Bengal – Bangladesh coasts between Sagar Island & Khepupara (Bangladesh) close to Raidighi (West Bengal) during 1030-1130 hrs IST and lay centred at 1130 hours IST of today, the 29th May 2025 over West Bengal-Bangladesh coasts near latitude 22.0° N and longitude 88.4° E, close to Raidighi about 40 km southwest of Canning (India), 130 km west-southwest of Mongla (Bangladesh) and 190 km west of Khepupara (Bangladesh).
It is very likely to move nearly north-northeastwards, maintain its intensity of deep depression till evening and weaken gradually into a depression thereafter.
