ഭാരത സര്ക്കാരിന്റെ കേന്ദ്ര യുവജനകാര്യ-കായിക മന്ത്രാലയത്തിലെ യുവജനകാര്യ വകുപ്പ്, ‘മൈ ഭാരത് (എന്റെ യുവ ഭാരതം) പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോം വഴി രാജ്യമെമ്പാടും വന്ദേമാതരം ക്യാമ്പുകള് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കും. ബങ്കിം ചന്ദ്ര ചാറ്റര്ജിയുടെ ജന്മവാര്ഷികത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് 2026 ജൂണ് 24 മുതല് 30 വരെ പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളിലെ കൊല്ക്കത്തയിലാണ് ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച ആദ്യ ക്യാമ്പ് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ദേശീയോദ്ഗ്രഥനം, ഭരണഘടനാ മൂല്യങ്ങള്, യുവനേതൃത്വം എന്നിവ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്താന് ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുള്ള ഒരു മുന്നിര യുവജന സമാഹരണ സംരംഭമായാണിത് നടത്തുന്നത്.
ആഴത്തിലുള്ള പഠനാനുഭവം നല്കുന്ന താമസസൗകര്യത്തോട് കൂടിയുള്ള (ഇമ്മേഴ്സീവ് റസിഡന്ഷ്യല്) സപ്തദിന ക്യാമ്പുകളായി വിഭാവനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സംരംഭം, യുവാക്കളുടെ സാംസ്കാരിക ആത്മവിശ്വാസവും പൗരനെന്ന നിലയിലുള്ള ഉത്തരവാദിത്തവും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം, ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭരണഘടനാപരവും ജനാധിപത്യപരവുമായ പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അവരുടെ ഗ്രാഹ്യം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുമുള്ള അവസരങ്ങളേകുന്നതിനാണ് ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. ‘2047 ഓടെ വികസിത ഭാരത’മെന്ന കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുമായി യോജിക്കുന്നവയാണിവ. കൂടാതെ വിവരവും, ഉത്തരവാദിത്തബോധവും, രാജ്യതാത്പര്യത്തെ മുന്നിര്ത്തുന്നവരുമായ യുവ നേതാക്കളെ വളര്ത്തിയെടുക്കാനും ക്യാമ്പുകള് രൂപകല്പ്പന ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
‘വന്ദേമാതരം’ എന്ന ഗീതത്തിന്റെ ചൈതന്യത്തില് നിന്നാണ് വന്ദേമാതരം ക്യാമ്പുകള് പ്രചോദനം ഉള്ക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇത് പ്രാദേശികവും ഭാഷാപരവും സാമൂഹികവുമായ അതിര്വരമ്പുകള്ക്ക് അതീതമായി, മാതൃരാജ്യത്തോടുള്ള ആദരവിനെയും വൈകാരികമായ ഒരുമയെയും പ്രതീകവത്കരിക്കുന്നു. പൗര പങ്കാളിത്തം, നേതൃത്വ വികസനം, ഡിജിറ്റല് സാക്ഷരത, സാമൂഹിക ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം, സമൂഹ ഇടപെടല് എന്നിവ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ സമകാലിക യുവജന ആശങ്കകളെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യുകയെന്നതാണ് പരിപാടിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം.
തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ജില്ലകളിലായി 20 ക്യാമ്പുകള് ഉള്പ്പെടുന്നതാണ് ഈ സംരംഭം, ഓരോന്നിലും 15 മുതല് 29 വയസ്സ് വരെ പ്രായമുള്ള 150 യുവാക്കള് പങ്കെടുക്കും. ഓരോ ക്യാമ്പിലും ആറ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില് നിന്നുള്ള പങ്കാളിത്തം, വടക്കുകിഴക്കന് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില് നിന്നുള്ള നിര്ബന്ധിത പ്രാതിനിധ്യം, സ്ത്രീകളിലും സാമൂഹികമായി പിന്നാക്കം നില്ക്കുന്ന വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലും നിന്നുമുള്ള കുറഞ്ഞത് 50 ശതമാനം പങ്കാളിത്തം എന്നിവ ഉള്പ്പെടും. ഭരണഘടനാ മൂല്യങ്ങള്, സാംസ്കാരിക വിനിമയം, നേതൃത്വ വികസനം, മുന്നിര പദ്ധതികള് എന്നിവ വരെയുള്ള വിഷയങ്ങള് ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ക്യാമ്പുകളില് ഏകദേശം 3,000 യുവാക്കള് പങ്കെടുക്കും.
വന്ദേമാതരത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രപരമായ പ്രാധാന്യവും ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തില് അതിന്റെ പങ്കും, ഭരണഘടനയും പൗര കടമകളും, ഭാഷ, പാചകം, കായികം എന്നിവയിലൂടെയുള്ള സാംസ്കാരിക വിനിമയം, ചരിത്ര പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലേക്കുള്ള സന്ദര്ശനം, രാജ്യത്തിന് പ്രഥമപരിഗണന എന്ന ആശയത്തിലൂന്നിയ ആശയസംവാദങ്ങള്, തല്ക്ഷണ പ്രസംഗ സെഷനുകള്, നേതൃത്വപാടവ, സമൂഹ സമാഹരണത്തിനായുള്ള ശില്പശാലകള്, സര്ക്കാറിന്റെ മുന്നിര സംരംഭങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചര്ച്ചകള് എന്നീ വിഷയാധിഷ്ഠിത സെഷനുകള് ഒരാഴ്ച നീണ്ടുനില്ക്കുന്ന ക്യാമ്പുകളില് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.
ഐക്യം, ഭരണഘടനാ മൂല്യങ്ങള്, രാഷ്ട്രനിര്മ്മാണം എന്നിവയെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി ഇന്ത്യയിലെ യുവാക്കളുടെ ഊര്ജ്ജവും ആദര്ശവാദവും സര്ഗ്ഗാത്മകതയും പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിബദ്ധതയെ ‘വന്ദേമാതരം ക്യാമ്പുകള്’ ഊട്ടിയുറപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
The residential camps to provide young people with opportunities to deepen their understanding of India’s constitutional and democratic traditions :Kolkata to host the First Camp from 24th – 30th June, 2026
The Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, through MY Bharat, will organise Vande Mataram Camps across the country. First Camp in this regard is being organized in Kolkata, West Bengal from 24 to 30 June 2026 coinciding with the birth anniversary of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee as a flagship youth mobilisation initiative aimed at strengthening national integration, constitutional values, and youth leadership.
Conceived as immersive seven-day residential camps, the initiative seeks to provide young people with opportunities to deepen their understanding of India’s constitutional and democratic traditions while promoting cultural confidence and civic responsibility. The camps are aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 and are designed to nurture a generation of informed, responsible, and nation-oriented young leaders.
The Vande Mataram Camps draw inspiration from the spirit of ‘Vande Mataram’, symbolising reverence for the motherland and emotional integration that transcends regional, linguistic, and social boundaries. The programme seeks to address contemporary youth concerns by promoting civic participation, leadership development, digital literacy, social responsibility, and community engagement.
The initiative will comprise 20 camps across identified districts, each hosting 150 youth participants aged 15–29 years, with participation from six States per camp, mandatory representation from the Northeast, and at least 50% participation from women and socially disadvantaged sections. The camps will cover approximately 3,000 youth and include themes ranging from constitutional values and cultural exchange to leadership development and flagship schemes.
The week-long camps will feature thematic sessions on the historical significance of Vande Mataram and its role in India’s freedom movement, the Constitution and civic duties, cultural exchanges through language, cuisine and sports, visits to sites of historical importance, Nation First dialogues and extempore sessions, leadership and community mobilisation workshops, and discussions on flagship government initiatives.
The Vande Mataram Camps reaffirm the Ministry’s commitment to harnessing the energy, idealism and creativity of India’s youth in advancing the ideals of unity, constitutional values and nation-building.
