ജനകേന്ദ്രീകൃത ആധാർ സേവനങ്ങൾ കൂടുതൽ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി, യുണീക്ക് ഐഡന്റിഫിക്കേഷൻ അതോറിറ്റി ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ (UIDAI) അത്യാധുനിക സൗകര്യങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയ പുതിയ ആധാർ സേവാ കേന്ദ്രം (ASK) തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് പരുത്തിപ്പാറയിൽ പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചു. തിരുവനന്തപുരം അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കളക്ടർ ശ്രീ. വിഷ്ണോയ് ദിനേശ് ഹാപുറാം, ഐ.എ.എസ് ആധാർ സേവാ കേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു.
യു.ഐ.ഡി.എ.ഐയുടെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ പ്രശംസിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം, കേന്ദ്രം സന്ദർശിച്ച പൊതുജനങ്ങളുമായും ജീവനക്കാരുമായും ആശയവിനിമയം നടത്തി. ആധാർ എൻറോൾമെന്റ്, അപ്ഡേഷൻ നടപടികൾ എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചും അദ്ദേഹം അന്വേഷിക്കുകയും കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ നൽകിവരുന്ന വിവിധ ആധാർ സേവനങ്ങൾ വിലയിരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. ജനസാന്ദ്രത ഏറിയ കേരളത്തിൽ ഇത്തരം അത്യാധുനിക സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഏറെ ഉപകാരപ്രദമാണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. കുട്ടികളുടെ ആധാർ ബയോമെട്രിക് അപ്ഡേഷൻ നടപടികൾ സ്കൂളുകളിലും കോളേജുകളിലും ദൗത്യ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ ജില്ലാ ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് പൂർണ്ണ പിന്തുണയും അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കളക്ടർ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തു.
ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് താമസക്കാർക്ക് തടസ്സമില്ലാത്ത ആധാർ സേവനങ്ങൾ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിനായി 8 പ്രവർത്തനക്ഷമമായ കൗണ്ടറുകളാണ് പരുത്തിപ്പാറ വി സി മെറിഡിയൻ്റെ ഒന്നാം നിലയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ആധാർ സേവാ കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ സജ്ജീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. പൊതു അവധി ദിവസങ്ങൾ ഒഴികെയുള്ള എല്ലാ ദിവസങ്ങളിലും ഈ കേന്ദ്രം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് കൂടുതൽ സൗകര്യപ്രദമായി സേവനം തേടാം. ആധാർ എൻറോൾമെന്റ്, ബയോമെട്രിക്ക് അപ്ഡേറ്റ് ചെയ്യൽ, പരാതി പരിഹാരം തുടങ്ങി എല്ലാ ആധാർ സേവനങ്ങളും ഒരൊറ്റ കുടക്കീഴിൽ ഇവിടെ ലഭ്യമാണ്.
ആധാർ ഉടമകളുടെ പരാതികൾ സ്വീകരിച്ച് മേഖലാ ഓഫീസ് വഴി പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സംവിധാനവും ഈ ആധാർ സേവാ കേന്ദ്രത്തിലുണ്ടായിരിക്കും.
തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് പുതിയ ആധാർ സേവാ കേന്ദ്രം (ASK) ആരംഭിച്ചതോടെ, യു.ഐ.ഡി.എ.ഐ കേരളത്തിൽ ഇതുവരെ 11 ആധാർ സേവാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തനക്ഷമമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 3 കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ കൂടി ആരംഭിക്കാൻ പദ്ധതിയുണ്ട്. ഇതോടെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ആകെ യു.ഐ.ഡി.എ.ഐ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം 14 ആയി ഉയരും.

UIDAI’s First Aadhaar Seva Kendra in Thiruvananthapuram Begins Operations
As part of its efforts to strengthen citizen-centric Aadhaar services, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a state-of-the-art Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) at Paruthippara in Thiruvananthapuram.
Thiruvananthapuram Assistant Collector, Vishnoy Dinesh Hapuram, IAS, inaugurated the centre. Appreciating UIDAI’s initiatives, he interacted with members of the public and staff during his visit. He also enquired about Aadhaar enrolment and updation procedures and reviewed the various services offered at the centre.
Observing that such modern facilities would be particularly beneficial to people in a densely populated state like Keralam, the Assistant Collector assured the district administration’s full support in conducting mission-mode campaigns at schools and colleges to complete mandatory biometric updates for children.
The Aadhaar Seva Kendra, located on the first floor of VC Meridian at Paruthippara, has eight operational kits to ensure seamless Aadhaar services for thousands of residents. The centre will remain open on all days except public holidays, making it more convenient for the public to access its services.
A comprehensive range of Aadhaar-related services, including new enrolments, biometric updates and grievance redressal, will be available under one roof. The centre will also have a dedicated mechanism to receive complaints from Aadhaar holders and facilitate their resolution through UIDAI’s Regional Office.
With the launch of the new centre in Thiruvananthapuram, UIDAI has now operationalised 11 Aadhaar Seva Kendras across Keralam. Three more centres are planned in different districts of the state in the coming days, taking the total number of UIDAI centres in Keralam to 14.
IDAI’s Aadhaar Seva Kendras are equipped with facilities designed to ensure accessibility and convenience for all, including ramps and accessible toilets for persons with disabilities, as well as dedicated grievance redressal mechanisms.
